Professor Dr Colyn Gardner is a globally respected executive educator and thought leader in the financial services sector. As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Manaf Gardner Associates, he brings over four decades of experience advising senior leaders and shaping organisational performance worldwide.
Following the sale of DC Gardner, he further distinguished himself in academia. He holds an MSc in Financial Economics and a PhD in Corporate Finance from Bangor University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Banker Institute. As Chief Executive of the Management Centre at Bangor University, he played a key role in creating the Chartered Banker MBA, the world’s only dual qualification MBA in banking.
In 2016, Colyn was the Founding CEO of the Asian Banking School (ABS) before stepping down in December 2024 after almost 10 years. At the time of his leaving, he had built ABS into the largest specialised provider of quality banking training programmes in the ASEAN region, and a sustainable and resilient business with a strong financial position.
Professor Dr Colyn Gardner has had a long and illustrious career entirely immersed in banking. He has been a practising banker, a banking consultant to many of the world’s largest banks and organisations, an innovative training course developer, a professor of banking, a successful Conference Speaker on banking topics and a corporate client of banks.
Datuk (Dr) Nora was conferred the Global Women Leadership Lifetime Award 2024, national-level LAWA CHRO Champion Award 2023, national-level Woman Beacon of Light Award 2016, Outstanding Global Islamic Women Manager Icon Excellence Award (2023) and Top 50 Impact Lifetime Achievement Award for Women Excellence (2021) by KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific.
Nora is also immediate Past President of the Malaysian Commercial Banks Association (MCBA), Chairman (HRNG), Council Member (MEF), Co-Chair (ARC) and Council Member (IAC).
Datuk Nora was also appointed as the Project Champion in 2024 for the Industry’s Future Skills Framework (FSF) that was launched by the BNM Governor and HR Minister in July 2024. She is Founder Sponsor of the acclaimed eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN programme and inaugural First EXCO Sponsor of Maybank’s Sustainability Culture and Governance Pillar. Joel Kornreich has over 30 years’ of governance and executive experience in consumer, commercial and Islamic Banking, in multiple countries throughout Asia, Europe and North America.
Ashley manages the operational and programme delivery functions of Manaf Gardner Associates.
Junita Rashid works across strategic partnerships and ecosystem development, with more than a decade of experience spanning corporate innovation, digital ecosystems, and brand building.
She began her career at Maxis before moving into corporate start-up environments, contributing to the growth of emerging platforms in the e-wallet and BNPL space under Axiata Group. Junita later worked on incubated start-ups developed by Petronas, where she served as a venture builder supporting early-stage initiatives through partnership development and ecosystem building.
She is currently Partnership Director at Manaf Gardner Associates, where she leads strategic collaborations aimed at expanding the organisation’s reach and strengthening its presence within the executive education landscape. Junita also serves as Partnership Director at Larenme, an emerging PR and media firm recognised for challenging traditional communications models by delivering integrated storytelling, experiential campaigns, and strategic media platforms.
In addition, she is the founder of Boss Mama Malaysia, a maternity brand created to support modern mothers through thoughtfully designed products and community-driven initiatives. Under her leadership, the brand has grown into a recognised name in the maternity space and was awarded Best Maternity Bra Brand by Parenthood.
Across both corporate and entrepreneurial environments, Junita’s work focuses on building meaningful partnerships, fostering collaborative ecosystems, and connecting ideas, organisations, and communities.
She gained international recognition when her team presented Malaysian delicacies during London Fashion Week, bringing Malaysian gastronomy to the global stage. Beyond culinary achievements, she is a respected mentor, speaker, and advocate for entrepreneurship, actively empowering women and young entrepreneurs through education, workshops, and collaborations.
Today, Chef Puan Sri Nisa Bakri leads Nisa Holdings, expands the Ready-To-Eat (RTE) culinary business sector, and continues to inspire communities through innovation, leadership, and her passion for sharing Malaysian culture with the world.
Monir Azzouzi is the Founder and Managing Director of Futuresparx, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in HR and business leadership across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He has held senior leadership roles, including Chief of HR, IT, and Corporate Services, where he led large-scale digital transformation initiatives and organisational change in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Academically, Monir holds a Master of Science in Management of Innovation and Business Development from Copenhagen Business School and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School in Business Analytics and Big Data. In addition, he is an HRDC-certied professional, keynote speaker, and ICF-certied coach, known for delivering engaging, practical, and impactful learning experiences that drive real organisational outcomes.
